ESTOPALOOZA II - May 23 through May 26, Lakewood Eesti Maja
18 Mar 2008 EWR Online
Dear Friends,

We're back, and we're bigger and better this year! The Lakewood Eesti Maja invites you to a very special weekend of music, film, friends, and good times. Last year was a huge hit, with better than a hundred people there, and it was just a fantastic time. So, by popular demand, we're doing it again, but this time around we've got a lot more planned!

If you play music, love music, love to watch live music, or love someone who loves music, this is a weekend for you. We will have two stages of live music, one indoor and one outdoor and acoustic in the Lakewood Eesti Maja's first ever Beer Garden and outdoor bar, sponsored by Saku and A. LeCoq. Our sound system will be first class again this year, and there will be plenty of instruments to go around. So dust off the clarinet you haven't played since high school and get practicing, we'll want you up there! This year we also have some very special musical guests lined up to play for you that you may have heard of, as well as several other bands of different styles.

So whether you like some live rock and roll, electronica, DJs, or Estonian beer drinking songs with friends under the big tent in the Beer Garden, we've got it. If you play music or just love music, come on down.

In keeping with our musical theme, there will be a very special and intimate showing of the film, "The Singing Revolution" with the creators of the film, Jim and Maureen Tusty on Sunday, May 25th at 1:00 pm. After the film there will be a discussion with the creators and a question and answer session. If you missed the film when it played near you, this is your chance!

Once again, all proceeds from the weekend go to charity, and there will be lots of food and drink available, including a country barbeque on Saturday. Tenting is encouraged, beginning Friday May 23rd to Monday May 26th, and the saun will be open all weekend. We will also have a family friendly camping zone for those who have to get the young ones to sleep at a somewhat reasonable hour. Most of the music will be recorded this year along with video and will be available after the weekend. The cost for the weekend is as follows:

$20 - General Admission
$10 - Weekend Tenting
$10 - Advance Ticket for "The Singing Revolution"
$15 - Same Day Ticket for "The Singing Revolution" (as available)
Food & Drinks Separate

Advance tickets for all events are strongly encouraged, and may be acquired by contacting myself ), Karin Lichter ), or John Jester ) directly.

NOTE TO MUSICIANS: If you have a band and want to have a time slot set aside for you, please contact me directly and we'll see where we can get you in. If you are an individual and want to play with others, let me know what you want to do. If you're an acoustic player, the Beer Garden is for you.

NOTE TO VENDORS: If you are interested in renting a table for any part of the weekend, please contact me directly. Tables will be available for a nominal fee.

If anyone has any questions about the event, please contact me, phone or email. I'm really looking forward to seeing you all there; it is going to be huge fun!!!!

Cheers!
