E STuudio Kammerkoor

E STuudio kammerkoor loodi 2004. aastal samanimelise Põlva linna tütarlaste kontsertkoori ( koor tegutses aastast 1989) baasil. Kammerkoori loomise idee tekkis peale USA kontsertreisi, kui enamuses noortest lauljatest olid lõpetanud Põlvas gümnaasiumi ja läinud õppima Tartusse ja Tallinnasse.

Koor, kus laulab 32 noort, hakkas kaks korda kuus proove tegema Tartu laululava ruumides.

2004 - 2005 aasta tegevushooaja plaanis oli juba palju klassikalist ja vaimulikku koorimuusikat. Jõulude ajal andis koor esimese kontserdi koos Võru kammerorkestriga, kus esitati hulgaliselt tuntud kooriteoseid maailma muusikast ( W. A. Mozarti Missa Brevis; G.Handel „Halleluija" jne. ). 2005. aasta juunis lauldi Eesti Raadio stuudios sisse CD plaadi „Looja, hoia Maarjamaad" materjal ning juulis sõitis koor kontsertreisile Kanadasse, kus lauldi Lääneranniku Eestlaste Päevadel Harrisonis ning anti kirikukontserte Vancouveris.

Erinevates kontsertprogrammides laulab koor vahel ka kergemat eesti koorimuusikat. 2005 aasta lõpus anti kontserdid koos Kait Tamraga ning 2007. aasta jõulukontserdil esitati Olav Ehala laululoomingut koos helilooja endaga. Esinetud on ka koos Tõnis Mägiga.

2006. aasta oli maailma muusikas Mozarti aasta. Selleks puhuks võttis koor repertuaari mitmeid helilooja tuntud kooriteoseid, mida aasta lõpus koostöös Eesti Kontserdi ja Tobiase Keelpillikvartetiga ühisel kontserdil ette kanti.

2007. aastal esineti kontsertprojekti NOORED JA KLASSIKA raames koos Vanemuise Sümfooniaorkestriga, mida juhatas Tarmo Leinatamm. Koor ja orkester kandis ette 4 osa Helen Tobias-Duesbergi REEKVIEMIST. Teos köitis koori ja dirigente niivõrd, et üheskoos otsustati terve teos ära õppida.

2008. aasta suvel sõidab E STuudio kammerkoor taas Kanadasse, kus Torontos, Ottawas ja Montrealis kantakse ette eesti klassikalist koorilaulu ja seal hulgas ka Helen Tobias-Duesbergi REEKVIEM.

E STuudio kammerkoori juhatavad Külli Lokko ( E STuudio kooride juures 1989 aastast ) ja Mariell Piispea ( 2004. aastast ).
E STuudio Chamber Choir

E STuudio Chamber Choir grew out of E STuudio Concert Choir that first came together in 1989 in small town called Põlva. The idea to create a chamber choir emerged after the concert trip to the US when most of the girls had graduated or were about to graduate the high school in Põlva and continue studying or working in Tartu or Tallinn.

In 2004 the new choir of 32 singers started rehearsing twice a month in Tartu Festival Arena.

The first season (from 2004 to 2005) brought lots of new pieces from classical and sacred choral music into the repertoire and during the Christmas the choir had the first concert together with Võru Camber Orchestra, performing well-known pieces from world's music like W. A. Mozart Missa Brevis; G.Handel „Halleluija" etc. In June 2005 the choir recorded its first CD 'Looja, hoia Maarjamaad' ('Creator, guard Estonia') in Eesti Raadio (Estonian Radio) studio. In July the choir had its first concert trip to Canada, where concerts were given in frames of West Coast Estonian Days and in churches of Vancouver.

In different concert programmes the choirs sings also contemporary Estonian choir music. In the end of 2005 a joint concert was given with Kait Tamra and in 2007 the music of a composer Olav Ehala (known by every Estonian) was performed together with himself. There have also been concerts with Tõnis Mägi - one of the beloved singers of Estonia.

In 2006 it was Mortzart's Year in world's music. For this occasion lots of the composer's famous pieces found its place in the choir's repertoire and in the end of the year a concert was given together with Estonian Concert and Tobias String Quartet.

In 2007 E STuudio Chamber Choir performed in a concert project 'The Youth and Classics' together with Vanemuine Theatre Symphonic Orchestra, conducted by the most beloved conductor of Estonia - Tarmo Leinatamm. The choir and orchestra performed 4 parts of Helen Tobias-Duesberg's Requiem. Everybody enjoyed it so much that together it was decided to learn the whole Requiem.

In summer 2008 the choir is going to a concert trip in Canada again, where concerts of Estonian classical choir music will be given in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. The Helen Tobias-Duesberg's REEKVIEM will also be in the repertoire.

E STuudio Chamber Choir has two wonderful conductors - Külli Lokko (already since 1989) and Mariel Piispea (since 2004)
