ERR NewsDrinkers throughout Estonia may be raising their glasses in a self-pitying toast this weekend - a freshly-published report by the World Health Organization has ranked the nation sixth in the world for alcohol consumption.
According to the report, which was based on 2005 data, Estonians drink 15.57 liters of pure alcohol per capita each year, compared to the world average of 6.1 liters.
