Globe and Mail on avaldanud arvamuse kohaliku Toronto eestlase Marcus Kolga sulest.
I must confess: I actually like Peter Van Loan. Like me, the Government House Leader is Estonian — albeit half. Having met him a few times, I can say that he's a pretty nice guy despite our political differences. We also share a common history: My grandfather was deported from Estonia to a Soviet slave labour camp in 1941, as Mr. Van Loan's grandparents apparently were. His family also fled the Soviet attacks in 1944 and immigrated to Canada.
