Freedom House has ranked Estonia as being the freest nation in the world when it comes to the Internet in their just-published report, “Freedom on the Net: A Global Assessment of Internet and Digital Media.”
“Estonia stands out as having particularly widespread access and strong protections for user rights and personal data, though it has recently come under pressure from the European Union to change such policies.
