Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism - Fellowship Programme

First off, thank you so much for your help publicising our programme last year.
I really appreciate you taking the time to circulate information on the
fellowship programme to your mailing list. The time has come again for us to
recruit for next year’s funded fellowship programme. To remind you of what we
do: the University of Oxford offers an established fellowship programme for mid-
career journalists providing them with the opportunity to study in Oxford each
year for three to nine months. For more details, please see:

I would be grateful if you could again circulate to the members of the Estonian
Union of Journalists details of our fellowship programme at the Reuters
Institute for the Study of Journalism at the University of Oxford. If you could
once again post the information found below on your web site and/or or
circulate it to any mailing list you may have, I would greatly appreciate it.

Best wishes,

Rima Dapous

University of Oxford, Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism Fellowship
Programme 2009/10

The University of Oxford offers a unique funded fellowship programme for mid-
career journalists at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism. The
fellowship scheme enables visiting journalists from across the world to do
research in Oxford for a period of three to nine months. Fellows enjoy an
opportunity to critically reflect upon their profession, to research a subject
of their choice under the supervision of an Oxford academic specialising in
that area and to enjoy the breadth of academic, cultural and social life at the
University of Oxford. This is not a degree programme but an opportunity for
journalists to engage in academic research in their professional fields of
interest.
