Dear Friends: of The Singing Revolution and some exciting news!
27 Jan 2016 EWR Online
Dear Friends:
We'd like to share with you two upcoming screenings of The Singing Revolution and some exciting news!

On Friday, January 29th there will be a special screening at the Yale Divinity School of Sacred Music. It will be attended by students of that school and will be followed by an in-depth discussion about the meaning of music in TSR. Filmmaker Jim Tusty will be there to participate in the discussion. While this screening is not being publicized to the public, they would gladly welcome a few non-school viewers if some people wished to attend. If you live in the New Haven, CT area and would like to attend this screening, or would like a friend to attend who may not yet have seen the film, please email us and we'll forward details to you.

Also, on Wednesday, February 10th The Singing Revolution will be screened at Texas State University San Marcos…a short distance from Austin. The screening will be at 7:30PM and will be open to the public.

Lastly, U.S. Public Television has asked to extend the broadcast license for The Singing Revolution! With financial support from the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Steve and Karla Jurvetson, we are able to retain a support team to maximize the number of Public Television stations that will rebroadcast the film. We are aiming for August/September of 2016 as that is the 25th anniversary of Estonia’s redeclaration of independence and the 25th anniversary of the collapse of the Soviet Union. We will let you know once the rebroadcast dates are confirmed!

December 1, 2016 will be the 10th anniversary of the premiere of The Singing Revolution in Tallinn, Estonia at the Black Nights Film Festival. It’s been quite a ride thus far. Thank you again to all of those who have supported the sharing of this powerful story.
