The Lithuanian post office is becoming a major gateway for Chinese products shipped to local transport companies for delivery across the EU, through cooperation with Chinese e-shop Alibaba and other suppliers.

Chinese suppliers are also eager to enter the Russian market via Lithuania, where businesses of all kinds are seeking new markets to compensate for losses caused by tit-for-tat EU and Russian trade sanctions. Doing more business with China is a popular topic in Lithuanian business circles.
