NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen will be in Estonia for an official visit on Thursday, 8 October. This will be Anders Fogh Rasmussen’s first visit to Estonia as the NATO secretary general.
The NATO secretary general has meetings planned with President Toomas Hendrik Ilves, Prime Minister Andrus Ansip, Foreign Minister Urmas Paet, Defence Minister Jaak Aaviksoo, and Commander of the Defence Forces Ants Laaneots.
Topics to be discussed at the meetings are the renewal of NATO’s strategic concept, NATO operations, including Afghanistan, and NATO partnership and enlargement.
Anders Fogh Rasmussen to visit Estonia
