After a decade of pause the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum will again hold an airshow. They were at rest because their insurance became too high for them to manage. The Hamilton Air Show at Mount Hope is back but this time with modern aircraft as well as antique aircraft ranging from WWI and fifties............

They are: FIGHTERS: CF-18 Demo Flight, Canadair CF-104, Locheed CF-104D Starfighter, Canadair CF-5 Freedom Fighter, Canadair (North American) Sabre 6, McDonell CF-101B VooDoo, deHavilland Vampire, Locheed T-33 Silver Star, Fairey Firefly M6, Spitfire Mk16, Hawker Hurricane, Hawker Sea Fury, FW-190 (Focke Wulf), WW1 Fighter Demo.
BOMBERS: Avro Lancaster, Boeing B-17, North American B-25, Bristol Brisbane, Consolidated PBY 5 Canso, CP-140 Aurora.

TRAINERS&TRANSPORTS (TWIN ENGINE): Avro Anson IV, Beech D18SExpediter, Cessna T50 Crane, Douglas DC-3, Grumman Co 44 Widgeon.

TRAINERS (SINGLE ENGINE): Boeing H-21 Stearman, deHavilland DHC-1 Chipmunk and 82E Tiger Moth, Faichild PT-26B Corrnell, Fleet Finch, 21K, 60K Fort, North American Harvard IV and NA-64 Yale.


The Canadian Aircraft Warplane Heritage Museum have a beautiful hangar in which they store the aircraft and renovate them. They constantly fly one at a time. Aircraft wonks walk around and then have a coffee or look at books and models in the bookstore.
