25How is there censorship when opinions from all sides are provided?
Kotkajarve did well to distance themselves from an opinion, even as it was stated that it came as a personal viewpoint, distant from a board membership. Let us face it, Kotkajarve is not the only organization that has failed to meet the rigourous demands of Sihtkapital. (Then again, there are rumours of soft grants elesewhere, so what gives...)
If only they were above board with all the other things such as supporting one or the other side of our potential lutheran church union???
Still, from the outside it seems that ESK is following the Harper model of no accountability.
Who elects the board of ESK? Not an idle question....

But I am soooo glad that you reminded about the õnnnetallrid!!! Those came well befor I had to sell chocolates for my ( mixed marriage, Canadian English school attending children) benefit. We sold õnnetaalrid in the 60's so skautlus could benefit! Waaay before the school boards had no money for anything other than salaries and bare upkeep in the schools. And still the teachers strike. But the scouts? Not yet.
Thus the skaudid were ahead of their times? Or is ESK behind the times for not helping put now, when õnnetaalrid cannot be sold, because Massey Hall no longer is rented for Estonian Independence Day with 3000 people willing to spend an extra buck to help skaudid?
If there are no õnnetaalrid, and no sihtkapital help, then who is left to help the remaining youth? Begging at Ehatare?
Thank you for reminding us how the scouts were able to fund themselves when their grandparents filled Massey Hall. Yet that generation, no longer with us, who was there, who perhaps bequeathed to ESK, would still be buying õnnetaalrid. But is ESK????
That is a direct question. Should the scouts go back to fundraising in an impossible demographic situation ( nobody has the time to volunteer, or the money to give because life is so expensiv ) or wait for a charity to give it to them?

At Joe Carew, the camp named after the famous Minnesota Twins baseball p[ayer, now evidently almost outright owned by ESK, I was known ion the sixties as shut up, because I always questioned things in eesti keel.
And now, after all these years grow up!!!!???? Think not. Hated the system then, hate it now.

I hinted at someone who is on one board of executives and "connected" to the other. This comment was deleted because the physical description of this guy was too accurate and everyone would have know who he is.
All these organizers of the groups are of the help or do as I say mentality otherwise you are a distraction and go away. Unfortunately there are more and more of those who want to help and be listened to ..... like in a democracy but because we aren't listened to or are thought of as interlopers or "carpet baggers" we are basically outcast and ignored. So why would we want to associate with these people let alone donate money to "the cause"?
The people running these organizations are following their fathers footsteps (because women were RARELY allowed) and the group that is castoff grows and grows in size.
As a poster for a Kungla event posted, the faces may change but the names remain the same.....
Too bad many of those "same names" are holding on to their father's mentalities.
