As a former resident of New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Stockholm and Munich from before 1991, I do not remember the refugee community placing less emphasis on March 25 than we did on June 14. Quite honestly. Both were days or mourning in the home of my parents. As Mr. Leivat says, those in exile had first hand knowledge of the 1941 events. That is the one salient difference. Neither date should be "discriminated".
