How can you call the Russian people backward? They built your Estonian country!
How can you compare " mental compatibilty" of Europes people to Russia's.
Europe's people are living in aethistic ????????? ????????". Russia is a modern Orthodox state which upholds ??????????????.
While the so called democratic and modern people of Europe are organising gay parades and becoming Americanised.
????? ??????! ??????????? ??? ??????!

Hey, I think Igor is telling the unvarnished truth. In a democracy this is a grievous political sin, as we all know, but in this context I think it is a positive thing.

That is, if this article provides an accurate translation of the quote:

“degradation, lumpenization, and even debilization.” (One wonders what "debilization" might be -- debilitation, perhaps?) I could add a few more terms: brutalized, sovietized, crudified and so on, but Igor made a good start.

I wish EE online would stop publishing these un-attributed stories without at least providing links or citations to the sources.

Who is the author of this article?

Ah, I see, the writer is Vladimir Kara-Murza. The beginning paragraph a little confusing, usually the author's name appears at the end or the heading of the article.

Not written by an Estonian.
