The story should have included the shocking fact that Backman is a professor (still teaching) at Helsinki University. And that he is given a forum for his extremist neo-fascist Russian views by Finland's leading national newspapers - including Uusi Suomi.
Make no mistake: he has changed negatively perceptions in Finland about Estonia.
