0Tõnu and I met as university students, four decades ago. To some, that may seem like ancient history, but; in truth, he died young - before his 60th birthday. There is a serious message for us all in that sad fact.
I last saw Tõnu in July, in Tallinn. I said to myself that, with that ruddy complexion, he does not appear healthy. Now, it's clear that something ominous was brewing.
Sorry that he is gone. My condolences to his family.
