Nice to hear from you, again, with something informed and sensible.

Justin, it's refreshing to read your ramblings. You seem to know wazhappnin in Estonia. Yes, even know what's cooking behind the scenes. But, in spite of the time you've spent in Estonia, you still have been unable to understand the Estonian soul, to have a genuine feeling for what it is to leave the stifling Soviet prison and fend for oneself in a totally new (20 years is still practically new) reality. Being able to own a Mercedes or travel to Spain have very little to do with it.One cannot ignore or push aside history. It still determines the tense, seldom relaxed, ties between Moscow and Tallinn. Estonia does not play the victim card, like some countries, but it demands fairness, justice, and at the very least. acknowledgement, for years of gross mistreatment. It does not seek revenge nor threaten vengeance. Justin Petrone, keep on writing. You make a real attempt to capture the essence of what it is to be Estonian.
