If you believe the last sentence I have a bridge I would like to sell to you.

Couldn't agree more!
As for Vaado's comments about this site getting hits from 120 countries: this is not at all uncommon. There are programs called "robots" which sweep thousands of sites per minute and there are literally thousands of these "robots" doing this at any given time during the day. Some index content, others are searching for vulnerabilities, etc. So to say that there are people from 120 countries actually reading material on this site is very misleading. Even blogs that are otherwise unread will witness similar statistics.

True, but there are statistics and then there are statistics, and Vaado said that people in Estonia are numerous in their visits to this website. As in Eesti follows Eesti Elu. Don't think that they are all robots!

Would you expect him to say anything other than that?

Let's not over inflate our sense of importance. Most Estonians don't even realize that there are other Estonians in Canada. And to suggest that Estonians in Estonia - or elsewhere- are searching for exlusive, high-calibre journalism on this site is simply unrealistic.

You can't compare hobby journalism to professional journalism. The Esto papers in TO used to be professional, but that era ended some twenty years ago.

whatcha smokin there big guy ?

its not about 'professional journalism' twenty years ago when canada post delivered it to you, but rather delivering relevant and significant information which is generally not available in the mainstream media (in a timely manner) though maybe your journalistic standards are not being met
Pasun04 Jun 2009 16:07
Which information would you consider to be "relevant and significant" that couldn't be found elsewhere?
Just curious.

It may come as a surprise to some people, but it should be a moment of joy to let you know that a number of my friends in Moscow and St Petersburg also read this paper, because there are a number of articles with commentary of the sort that doesn't often see the light of day even in Estonian publications. Congratulations to EE for producing some fearless points of view.
