Nashi was featured on a recent international television news magazine program. Its activities , philosophy and members were eerily familiar. Imagery, symbols and uniforms were obviously a contemporary version of Hitler Youth.

Nashi activities were examined in terms of the role Nashi played in demonstrations across Russia to intimidate support for the opposition candidate in the forthcoming Presidential election. The candidate has since been disqualified from running against Putin’s successor.

Nashi philosophy was examined through interviews with a top Nashi agiprop organiser, who seemed to be imbued with a predilection for violence.

Nashi members were displayed to demonstrate their representation of the entire spectrum of Russian youth.

70 years ago Hitler Youth was portrayed in the media by Nazi Germany in exactly the same way.

Hitler Youth were indoctrinated with a perverted Nazi ideology, involved in mass group activities and its members were morally desensitised through a deliberate program of intimidation of opposing viewpoints.

Hitler Youth were developed into a pool of recruits for the SS, which was declared a criminal organization at the Nuremberg War Crimes Tribunal at the insistence of the Soviet Union.

Crimes were committed against the population by the SS across the entire breadth of the Soviet Union.

Therefore it is our duty to call for the declaration of Nashi as a criminal organization and to proscribe its members from entry into Europe and from being employed in any international organizations.
