There is a new Europe being born tomorrow. It is not the Europe of old that Estonia thought it was joining in May 2004, but a Europe where the Russian language will have incredible status right across Eastern and Western Europe. The plan for this is only now being put into place, but the main agenda is to literally force upon all Eastern European EU states with at least 50 years of Political and Cultural links with Russia, to formalize the use of the Russian language with equal status to other language(s) spoken in that Republic. That is the last thing Estonians will want to hear, but it is going to be one hell of a job to insist that EU-Russian policy on language status in the former Soviet Republics is not desired.

Do you believe your own words, Maxim? Or are you saying this to be provocative? In either case, your a bit of a nut. I'm just trying to figure our what kind.

I find the degree of naievety towards Russia by Estonians abroad to be simply astounding. Once they used to see Russia as the all time threat to Estonia, and now when they are warned that there has been absolutely no diminishing of this threat, they cast these aspertions aside as if Russia has lost the global war of interests. It just so happens that Russia is on the cusp of showing how strong she really is, and Estonia's security, far from being anywhere near as safe as we are constantly being told she is, is in fact looming closer to another occupation similar to the late 30's. Once again you can expect our friends across the Atlantic to think this total nonsense, until the ever looming threats like chickens waiting to hatch, come home to roost right under their own bleeding noses.

Chickens don't hatch, Maxim. Your stupidity has to be seen to be believed.

A Maxim impersonator? Impossible!
No one could duplicate your style, Maxim. It's a unique blend incoherence, pomposity, irrationality and arrogance.
Never has one so stupid, has thought he was so smart.

A succinct summary.
Whoever you are -- definitely not Siil, don't know Slicker, so maybe Sherlock -- step forth, identify yourself and take a bow!
