The film was inspring. The showing at the Science Centre was sold out. Many were left without having the opportunity to see it. Those who would like to have the "Singing Revolution" come back to Toronto should go to the web site below and make their wishes known.

There is a noticeable difference in Estonian psychology through this film. Most kodu-eestlased prefer a film called Laulupeo, which is a docfilm about the history of the singing revolution as seen through the eyes of Soviet Estonians, together with a thousand nuances that bring back memories of the last 60 years. The Singing Revolution aspires to a different kind of sentiment which has caught the psychology of most Estonians living abroad, and their sense of what a captive nation underwent. These two films should complement each other and provide an interesting background as to the difference between Estonians living in Estonia, and the sentiment which has carried Estonians abroad in their effort to hold onto their cherished past.
