What time zone is the time-stamp based on?
I believe Pacific. The last time I looked the EE server was located in Vancouver according to the IP locator. 12:04 would be 10:04 pm in Estonia. What I noticed is that the original post was a day before about the same time. I like to pay attention and notice things and about half the posts are "around" this time frame. People are a creature of habit. That is what gets them in trouble.
I think that everyone has a right to a degree of privacy, although I'm prepared to admit that fighting lunies and b...s..t artists that frequently appear here has been both time consuming and energy expending. However, I don't think my critics are all bad-they probably have maybe a couple of good bones in their body, and that at least makes it all worthwhile engaging in an exchange with them. I'm pleased to note that I have managed not to be influenced by their very nasty and sometimes venomous style of language, but their choice of words is something for which they have to answer. There are so many other wonderful and supportive readers with EE which makes it easy to overlook the dross that comes our way. Best wishes to you too.

Kas Raudseppa poiss on tõesti eestlane? Pildist paistab et on üsna noor. Ehk tal üks vanaisa sündis Eestis. Oskab ta eesti keelt? On tal Eestimaa südames? Olgu mis ta on. Raudselt võime öelda ainult niipalju et see pole Maximahvi asi.
Pilt üsna selge. Aitäh tõestamast see mida arvasin. Aga usun et Raudsepal oleks üht-teist meie siinsete golfimängijatele näidata. Võtku ühendust siinsete klubidega ja tehku midagi oma rahva heaks kui ta on tõesti eestimeelne; või on ta juba läbi ja lõhki kanadalane?
Kas kõige tõenäolisem pole, et antud golfijad on nt. pool-eestlased? Mingi side neil igal juhul on, vähemalt eestlaste sõbrad.

Kui juba hormoonid annavad endast märku, siis on küll põhjust joosta eesti neidude sabas, aga rahva keeles ei viitsi nad ära õppida. Kenad tibid on üks asi, ja golfi palli ühe löögiga panna auku on teine, aga need asjad ei ole tingimata üksteisest sõltuvad. Ma kutsun üles neid tublid eesti noormehed täita oma kohust, ja tulla Eestimaale et kohalikud saaksid kasu nende näpunäidetest.
Ärge solvake neid kes astuvad meie ühiskonnale ligi.

Ma julgen astuda üks samm Jevgeni Kristafovitši eilsel päeval väljaõeldud mõttest kaugemale. Selle asemele et "Öine vaht" oleks Moskvasse saadetud tema lahkel väljamaksmisel, siis maksan hoopis mina nende noorte golfimängijate lennupiletid et Eestisse sõita et mingid kursust vahendada kohalikele huvilistele!! (Aga selle tingimusega; enne peavad Eesti riigi keeleeksami tegema ja kodakondsuse välja võtma.

My last posting wasn't very clear. I tried to say that I don't believe that second-generation immigrants have any duties to their ancestral homeland. And even if they did, its not Maxim's job to specify what they might be. Who do you think you are -- Moses?

The same individual , (I will be polite) , wrote , "...second and third generation Estonians living abroad have forfeited their right ...".
I remember that! The quote goes on to state that we have forfeited our right to live in Estonia. It was really amusing because Maxim didn't know what the word "forfeit" means and he tenaciously refused to concede the point. That exchange should be re-printed so that we can all have a good laugh again.

You've only forfeited your right by not being here when you really could be. If you argue that you don't want to be here, why do you argue that you want any connexion with Est Onia? I am simply stating the fact that for every one who could and should be here, there are others who stand in their place. To my understanding that is a way of forfeiting your ticket to life, just like I've forfeited mine...but I don't throw a tantrum about it, do I?
