Kas EE oleks nii kena et valgustaks kes/mis J-NEN on ? Siis saaksid lugejad otsustada kui tõsiselt seda artiklit võtta. Googli otsing ei too päeva valgele autorit.

This isn't a news-report. It's an editorial -- and one which is out-of-step with anything that has ever appeared in our newspaper: Meie Elu/Eesti Elu.

I believe that the readership deserves an explanation. Let's start with the identity of J-NEN and finish with the perceived merits of a gratuitously ad hominum attack on someone beyond the ranks of corrupt UN autocrats.

I thought that we hit bottom when Peeter Bush described the Estonian neo-fascists as a clean-cut group of nationalists. Now this! What's next?

Live, on TV, I saw what J-NEN describes as "the all-out blitzkrieg bombing of Baghdad". It was filmed from a hotel balcony accross the river from a concentration of government buildings, the object of the attack. All appeared normal at such a short distance. Lights were on in buildings and traffic was moving normally. The citizens of Baghdad obviously had confidence in the bombers precision and restraint.

I wish that J-NEN could exercise comparable precision and restraint. His points lose their credibility in such venomous hyperbole.

Canadians in state of pandemonium. That's one for the books. Take it easy, guys, everything's under control. We're living in the best country in the world, and no-one can take that away from us, can they?

Who is in a state of pandemonium and who is living in the best country in the world? -- You, in Estonia, or, us in Canada?

Are you related to Maxim, Peter or Peeter?

This shows how much EE respects the readers. Still no disclosure as to the source of this article. Does EE have a hidden agenda ? It certainly looks like it if no additional info is forthcoming. If this keeps up the only readers left will be the P. P and M. trio.

Is anyone interested in the subject at all? This touches the future of all groups of EU. It can't be just about me, can it? I'm just the messenger. And who in hell are the rest of you? Write something interesting for kristus sake. This echoes an AABS meeting where I said we are playing into the hands of our enemies.
the subject?25 Apr 2006 06:26
The subject here is anger; specifically, your irrational anger at American foreign policy. The purpose of your article is to blow off some steam and nothing more.
You make only a few explicit factual statements and those, (e.g. the blitzkrieg bombing of Baghdad), are either exagerated, distorted or imaginary.
Mostly, you rant over implausible assumptions as if they were universally acknowledged truths.
Would you weigh some evidence that might temper your righteous indignation? I doubt it. You sound like a fanatic who wont look at the facts, change his mind, or the topic. Yet, you ask us to take you seriously.
You don't belong here on the same page beside Puusaag, Purje, Mikkiver and others.

Where can we see a copy of your presentation to the AABS?
.25 Apr 2006 10:13
What makes you think that J-NEN is capable of delivering a paper to the AABS? No evidence of it here.
More likely, he was there to heckle.
oi oi oi25 Apr 2006 13:58
are you saying that current american foreign policy is just and untouchable ? .... just like in the national post where chavez'es win in the 1998 election in venezuela is blamed for high oil and gas prices in america .... seems that by making decisions on his country's natural resources which reduced american take, he became a paraiah

Synoptically, you say that the US is the only source of evil in this world.
I doubt that you expected much agreement with that but, I'd wager that you expected to sway us with some impassioned ranting. Sorry, but very few of us are sufficiently uninformed and maleable for that sort of thing.

the us is bringing democracy to the world ... unfortunately their national debt is now $8+ trillion, with 2300 dead soldiers ... but the good news is that haliburton stock has gone from $30 to almost in the last three years

Great, J-Nen, whoever it is, scours the fringe ezines for junk articles. Certainly not professional or responsible journalism.

Seems Eesti Elu is trying to compete with the National Enquirer. When do we get the article about being abducted by aliens and having an alien baby.
