What a horrific experience! Yes, we've been sheltered from the "victim feeling", here in Canada.
Most visitors to our Isamaa, have amazing, emotional, beautiful experiences and memories that carry us until our next visit, which will surely come, because we love our ancestral homeland.
I'm so sorry that you and your family had to live through this, but somehow I'm not surprised that it happens, and I'm very glad that you told the story. Perhaps it will be a wake-up call to action.
Best wishes!
(I hope that this truly isn't "Hüvasti Eesti" for you - that you WILL return to see the AMAZING Eesti that most of us experience)

Anonymous27 Feb 2006 12:37
Kes see hull võiks olla? Maksim, vää?
Anonymous28 Feb 2006 00:08
Maksim is angry because we haven''t followed him back to Estonia. He is a Moses with no followers. Now he would like to see us die out. Isn't that some spite?
President Päts28 Feb 2006 12:39
For quite some time now I have noticed you become easily irritated by opinions which clash with your own. However, continuing to play victim in your efforts to control these comments pages is not something that goes down well with most readers. I would strongly recommend you take your negative thoughts elsewhere. Our community is too small and fragile to have to tolerate your attitude problem.
to President Maxim Päts01 Mar 2006 06:40
Maxim. Why do you think that everybody who posts a comment under the name "Anonymous" is one and the same person?
You have got a funny attitude Maxim -- that your opinion trumps all and we just can't wait to hear it.
How old are you and what kind of education do you have?
President Pets01 Mar 2006 07:14
For your information I am not Maxim nor have I ever been or do I want to ever be, but that is beside the point. Blaming the world's woes in Maxim is still a fairly inappropriate way for you to avoid answering the questions posed to you. Wake up and smell the coffee. It might be 6 40 when you wrote your comment, but obviously you've either got an incredible crush on Maxim, or else you're so full of your own importance you've got to get here this early in the morning, otherwise life has no meaning for you.
Anna Nüüm01 Mar 2006 07:35
Please stick with the subject matter at hand!

Kuidas võiks seda "Pealtnägija" saatesse toimetada?
Päevalehele? Postimehele?
Tõepoolest vajaks see laiemat tähelepanu mis liigutaks tegudeks.
President Pets01 Mar 2006 07:41
So it is true-you actually adore Maxim. That's truly breathtaking. And to imagine that projecting the idea of avoidance of the subject is a cute way of deflecting your feelings. I hope you finally catch up with your loved one.
Anonymous01 Mar 2006 08:12
This is starting to look a little silly. Everybody should calm down. Anna's suggestion that we stick to the topic is a good one.
from Seedrioru03 Mar 2006 12:16
F.Y.I. -- President Päts/Pets is actually, the famous Peter. (Oh, what a temper you have, Peter. Doesn't look good on you.)

Hey, Anonymous! (Everbody knows which one I mean -- the Annie Oakley that hunts dumb buffalos like Maxim, and it looks good on him.) You also look dumb mistaking Peter for Maxim. And its about time you took a name. If you don't, we will call you "the anonymous" to seperate you from the others who are "anonymous too". It will do the job even though it doesn't sound elegent. So, before you come back here, get baptised.
Peter03 Mar 2006 14:08
Sorry From Seedrioru but I am not the same person who is using the name President Päts.
