I can't detect any contrition here.
It stops right there where the apology takes place! What a stupid response!! Your community is so full up with multiculturalism and all the various negative offshoots therein, that now it's even impossible to get a reasonable apology out of anyone anymore. Might as well toss the baby out with the bathwater and start again. This time though, try to avoid the same mistakes!
Based on the statistics and arguments by Mr. Dunsky, it seems that Netherland was also really mad at Jews. However, I don't hear anybody accusing them of "exemplary respect".
Could it be that they didn't really have much say in the matter, as they happened to be occupied by Germans? The same goes for many other countries on the list.
Mr. Plekhanov attaches Nazi label to everybody who fought in German army. The fact that some Estonians were fighting in German army does not make them Nazis. It is really offensive to read this! It also shows Mr. Plekhanov's limited understanding of the events. There were over 35,000 Estonian men who were conscripted to Red Army, it does not make them communists either. Estonian was caught between two evils and there are lot of grey areas between being a Nazi and being a Communist.

This is very true, insofar as the average Estonian in the German uniform is concerned, although it has been a difficult task to explain to the Estonian community abroad, that there were also sincere freedom fighters within the ranks of the bolsheviks. However, there is a more sober attitude beginning to take shape regarding this question. Concerning the broader picture regarding this particular matter, it would be good in future to enlist the active support and response of the Estonian Jewish community, who have done a lot recently to improve their somewhat tarnished image in Estonia.
